Software to design your own clothes to later take to a seamstress?

I have a hard time finding anything in stores so I desided to design my own stuff and have it made. Any ideas on how to get started? Is there a software or a guide somewhare to help design clothes that'll fit you well that helps you choose the correct fabric? Where do you get your inspiration for original clothing?

I think you're taking a wrong approach on this. There is no easy software that I know of to help someone not in the business design and make their own clothes. The software is very specific to designers, and is not cheap at all. See:

If you want to make your own clothes though, why don't you start by checking out some books. There are some books out there on how to make your own clothes. Some of them just show how to change your clothes to make them look a lot different, and can get more and more complex until you're making all your own clothes. The books also would teach you a lot of finding the correct fabric and getting inspiration for your designs. But just know that it's not as easy as you may think. It's difficult creating nice clothes, especially if you don't know anything to start with, so be patient and stick with it. Good Luck.
