I just got accepted into a graphic design program and I'll be starting in January '08. In the meantime, I'd like to read up on graphic design to get a bit of a head start and prepare myself for the upcoming schoolyear. I've never really taken any graphic design courses, nor have I read any books on the subject... So I'm a complete beginner! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
