How do you sell a dress design to a dress designer?

I have a dress design,and would like to sell it to a dress designer. How do I go about doing that?

you have to first enter you products in fashion shows to get exposure. If da dress is good you might catch the right persons attention. You have to have more that one dress you must have a collections, a website, you can even try to get you clothing in upscale boutiques on consignment
Reply:Design a dress that the designer would absolutely die for...but then again - who the hell 'sells' a dress to a dress designer. The keyword there is that they're already designers themselves...why would they buy something from you when they can design their own item?..

Best thing you can do is design a line of clothes and have your own design show
Reply:Designers design their own clothing, you might be able to sell a design to a clothing manufacturer, but until you establish yourself as a designer, that would be difficult.





Your best bet is to work with a seamstress to make and sell the finished product.
