What are a few of the top graphic design schools in the nation?

My search for a college ended abruptly after discovering Full Sail was nothing more than a rip-off, so I'm just wondering what some of the best graphic design schools are. Most preferrably technical schools not including math, etc, more specialized.

What are a few of the top graphic design schools in the nation?
Most real, reputable art schools will require you to take either a math or a science class, depending on what you took in high school. So be aware of that. But the majority of your classes will be related to art, and if math is not your strong point, it won't be for a lot of other students, either. Ask for help if you need it, and just try to get through it as best you can.

The best graphic design schools, which are pure art schools, not universities which would require you to take a lot of math and stuff, are: Rhode Island School of Design, the School of Visual Arts, and the Maryland Institute College of Art.

In terms of art schools in general, beyond just graphic design, the best art schools in the US include: RISD, The School of Visual Arts, Parsons, Pratt, Mass Art, Cal Arts, California College of Arts and Crafts, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of the Arts (PA), San Francisco Art Institute (no relation to the Art Institute chain, which should be avoided), Art Center College of Design, the Cooper Union, Cranbrook, Otis College of Design, Cleveland Institute of Art, and there are other reputable programs elsewhere, but Full Sail, nope, that's not one of them.

Some of these are harder to get into than others. RISD is the elite, along with the Cooper Union. You must, btw, check out the Cooper Union. If you can get in - and that's a big IF - it's free.
