I have a design that works out to be a star when finished. You use checkered material in any color and follow the squares as a guidline according to the pattern. It is used to make a quilt block. I have heard of other designs, but can't locate any others.
I am looking for a design to embroidery on checkered material using the squares as a guide. Have any ideas?
Go to any needle craft shop, Micheal's is a good start and ask if they have any patterns called Chicken Scratch, Its a book of patterns specifically for what you're looking for. It used to be popular about 20 years ago. I'm sure I've seen it on the pattern book section, not too long ago.
