In design, ground wire is important and it vary depending of the size of hot wire.how to find a size of ground wire having a 22 sq.mm hot wire.

Sizing of ground wires is not an exact science. Ampacity is not the issue, but (a) voltage drop to avoid having a dangerous potential on equipmentand when a ground fault occurs and (b) mechanical strenght to avoid damage to the wire.





Usually, mechanical considerations make it so strong that the voltage drop is nil.
