I want to do a course on interior design at home?

Health wise not fit enough to go to college but would love to do an interior design course from home anyone any ideas on this. Any information on this would be great thanks.

I want to do a course on interior design at home?
The most reputable design schools in the UK for diploma courses are KLC and Inchbalds, both based in London.

KLC offers a distance learning course that is one of the best in the industry. I'd recommend avoiding Rhodec. I studied at KLC and met a number of people who attempted the Rhodec course and found it of little use, so enrolled at KLC.

Oh, and probably should mention this website:

Reply:If you want any tips, advice or help, please feel free to ask. I retrained at the age of 31 which took a lot of nerve and quite a bit of money. It was worth every sleepless night of finishing projects and every penny I spent - I've never been happier! Best of luck. Report It

Reply:Dezignare has a listing of online schools, but the one most recognized in the industry is the program offered by Rhodec International. I know that you can eventually earn a Bachelor of Arts degree through Rhodec. Just from being an Interior Design student, I will say that you wont be able to get the same education through a distance course. A lot of interior design education is collaborative. And you really need an experienced interior design educator at your disposal.
