What would be a good way for me to design my room?

i am 14 and i would like to re design my room more sophisticated. what would be a good way to design (paint color??) i have quite a large room and a queen sized bed. and also i would like to hang some artwork in my room. i am not quite sure what to paint it, i only have 1 small window and my bed room is in the basement.

Go for warm colors since you're in the basement. Blues perhaps? Or, my daughter has a brown and blue room- her rug has blue and gold flowers and a brown background which is really cool. Get a "pottery barn teen" magazine and get some ideas from that! I'd hang fun lamps and put up a ton of pics of you and your friends- make a picture wall! Also, my daughter has white christmas lights hung around the border of her room which makes it look really funky. Have fun!

Reply:i think you should paint your room blue or red, and move your bed into a corner and hang art work all over like any artwork you like.
