I'm going to the private view of an exhibition by final year Goldsmiths design students. I'd really like a new dress to wear that's kind of quirky but still flattering and affordable. I'm a size 18 so I don't want anything too revealing - but I'm not averse to a bit of cleavage! Any ideas?
What dress should I wear to a design exhibition?
Wear nothing!!!!
It's all good!
Reply:These events are always crowded, so the top part of you is what will be visible. Gorgeous and unusual earings are the types of things that people will comments on, I have found, not fabulous shoes as with other types of events.
How about a long skirt and a low cut top with amazing earrings and a huge ring with coordinated nail polish that people will see while you are carrying around your complimentary wine!
I always find shopping for jewellery fun, too. it means that if you don't happen to come accross a dress you love, there is no panic.
Have a good time.

Reply:Well, I don't know how quirky these are but I do think they're stylish and would be flattering.

These are a little more dressy, sophisticated and pricey:
